The Granary

- Hosts 150 Seated Guests
Built within the original structure of an 1800s bank barn, the Granary embraces its antiquity and richly weathered aesthetic. Custom acid-washed concrete, white ship-lap finishes, and handcrafted details create a timeless, intentional architecture within the Granary and its adjoining Taproom, providing an effortless setting for weddings. The venue’s exposed structure and lofty ceilings establish an airy ambiance, and its expansive western-facing windows allow for soft, natural light and a seamless transition to the portico and outdoor hearth. Its hand-hewn beams tell of its agro-industrial history, and its worn wood adorns the space in a beautifully neutral palette. The century-old barn was reclaimed, relocated, and given the chance to harbor another generation of gatherings within the grain of its walls. Every piece of the original barn was thoughtfully counted and deconstructed, and in turn, the Granary was resurrected and rooted to overlook a sea of golden fields in the foothills of the Virginia mountains. With white shiplap walls and original hand-hewn exposed beams and columns, the Granary maintains a historic aesthetic and embodies a classy, nostalgic character that can’t be replicated in new construction. The original structure is softened by white chiffon sheer draping, and 400 feet of bistro lights create a warm, intimate ambiance throughout the venue. With more than 4,000 square feet of space, the Granary can accommodate large receptions with space for entertainment and flexibility for multiple reception floor plans. Our custom acid-wash concrete floors create a stunning, high-end surface that pairs beautifully with our wooden cross-back reception chairs and signature farm tables, handcrafted from the original wood of our historic 125-year-old bank barn.
