Available for events year-round, Burlington is a wedding venue located in Charles City, Virginia. It was first built in 1818 and has been recently restored. Several features of the original property have been maintained throughout the various renovations, such as the pine flooring in the living room. This property is available for both ceremony and reception and offers a choice of indoor or outdoor locations. Burlington offers couples the exclusive use of the property for the duration of their occasion. Two outdoor ceremony sites are available, as well as an expansive indoor ceremony space that can double as a reception venue. The indoor wedding space in the Stables features exposed wooden beams and custom chandeliers, while the gardens and lawn offer views of the surrounding countryside for an outdoor ceremony. Both the indoor and outdoor spaces can accommodate up to 300 seated guests. Two individual get-ready rooms allow the wedding party a private space to prepare themselves and relax before the ceremony. The Ice House Bar, an additional space converted from an 18th-century colonial ice house, can host cocktail receptions. Guests have access to the venue’s on-site parking facilities, which also include a golf-cart shuttle for added convenience. This venue is wheelchair-accessible.
