I love photographing weddings because its the couple's most important day of their lives together and there is so much that is put in to the day. Every tiny detail is thought about and as a photographer I get capture all of that for them. When the wedding is over the only thing left to re-live the day are their photos and its so important for me capture the whole essence of the day.
I am a wedding photographer because I love the idea of preserving memories through my camera. About a decade ago, I was a studio pupil and wedding photo assistant for a Richmond photographer. While I still enjoy being a "second shooter," there's nothing like being able to sort through and edit images you took yourself! In doing this, I get to relive the special emotions captured throughout the day. Honestly, who doesn't love the genuine smiles after the Officiant announces the couple?
